    Ridgeline Length question

So, I'm going to make an adjustable ridgeline of Amsteel for each of my hammocks.
I know the ~83% figure, so I'll probably make it adjustable for 78-88% or so(seem reasonable?).
    My question though..
The hammock itself measures about 108 from end to end, but then the Amsteel CL's on each end extend another ~10inches. Should I include those in the calculation? i.e. make the RL be 75-85% of 128"? or do it based off of the hammock length, and add an extra 10" to each end?

It really depends on where your ridgeline attaches. If you want it to attach to the ends of those continuous loops, then you'll want to calculate based on them. However, if you want the ridgeline to be attached at the gathered ends, 83% of 108 is what you're looking for.

    Good luck!

they attach at the top of the CL's, everything clips onto a biner together. So I will just consider the CL as part of the hammock length then.

    Cool, thanks!
