    Typhoon inside rain out

    typhoon inside.jpg

Was storming outside and i just could not wait any longer to see it out of the bag and strung up.
figured i had DJ XL hanging there earler to get some measurements on RL length and got snakeskins put on too.
played with the blast doors and depending on how you tie down its bottom cord you have between 3.5' and 4' wide at bottom of door and over 5.5' wide at bottom of wides point on fly with set up here.

Am thinking of doing the pole add on to middle to give it that little bit of lift and also maybe a few more inchs of head room.

But what better way to test a tarp than in a storm?

great was hoping others got a good chuckle out of it.
I know I sure did. had just got it and wanted to see how it set up before heading to work.
played arounf with putting the "Blast Doors" on and getting some ideas on how best to pitch it this weekend.
would rather do it now in the dry than in woods getting soaked.
i know there is bigger tarps out there but i think it will have good coverage for my DJ XL plus i can slide skins ovwer hammock asnd set under it and coog in the dry if weather is bad.
in really liking all the ideas i keep coming across on here for ways to make hammocking better than any night in a tent.
