When you think about it, what moron came up with the idea of putting a spreader bar at each end of a hammock?

Some dude from Hatteras Island, North Carolina

My story is a bunch of foolish friends came over, and when I was not watching "load tested" my Brazilian hammock by all jumping in it and gave me a home repair job.

even duct tape cant fix stupid but it will muffel the sound.

Same here. It seems to me like it was invented so people would flip out of hammocks for our amusement.

Ok, it's a tie between the guy trying to step into his hammock between the bollards, and the walrus also trying to step into it..

That last one though, erhm... I have some personal experience with that.. Disintegrating toggle, when demonstrating hammocking for my gf the first night out... got flashbacks from seeing that one! She laughed and took the risk though - she's tiny maybe that's why she dared!
