    Something new!?!

See Hammock demo #2. I have never seen these before. Looks like a Hennessy in the demo.

Definitely interesting. The rope on some models (like my BULA) is much thinner though...I wonder if it would work. So who's gonna order some for testing?

I couldn't find it anywhere, so some body needs to buy some of those and tell the rest of us what they weigh!

Oh yeah, looks good. But weight? And of course, no help with straps. I've got to find out the diameter of my HHUL Explorer rope.

Anybody know what size rope is on the HH Exp. UL Asym?

Is the Monster 2.9 oz EACH, or per pair?

    All I know is it's definitely either 4 or 5mm. I just got some 3 & 6mm accessory cord & it's between them.

I bought two of the mini's last year. They would work fine but I have not dared to use them on my Spectra cord for my HH. The way the device works is that it creates a pinching effect on the cord to tighten it so that it will keep the cord from loosening up and slipping. I am afraid that this will put stress on the cord and weaken it in spots where is pinches.

I just ordered the monster size for my Explorer UL.

I wonder if there is a risk of it weakening the line.......................

Looks cool, I wonder about the line too. If there was a way to use this with webbing, then I would order and test it for everyone.

Reading the fine print now. Do you guys think a rating of 500 foot pounds is enough for a hammock support? I know I like to overdesign things, but it seems a little low to me.
