    New Tablecloth Hammock

Sewed this up today, a $12 60x126" tablecloth hammock. It will be my winter hammock with my favorite suspension, a Warbonnet strap and buckle that is so easy to use. Last winter my UCRs failed in the sub-freezing cold but the strap and buckles were easy to handle with cold fingers -- have my biggest Ti carbineers at the tree.

Ordered a Climashield kit from Thru-Hiker for the UQ.

    Nicely done Mike.
A winter hammock!?! You thinking about coming up to my neck of the wood for a little snow camping?

    I hope so!

I've got all the pieces for my pulk and just need to cobble them together while it's still hot because they will be joined with high bonding auto detail tape.

The cold either affected the mechanics of a UCR or my ability to milk them out right. Regardless, I ended up on the frosty ground. Fortunately, it was in my back yard. So, I went inside and grabbed the Warbonnet suspension. That is twice in a pinch that I grabbed them. Before it was to demonstrate my new hammock craze to my visiting children.

    It's black.
