    UQ help

I need a 3 season UQ for my HHULB. i bought the supershelter from hennessy (the undercover and the underpad) and i dont like it. the pad puts crazy pressure point on my shoulders and arm.

    so my questions are.

can a yeti fit the HHULB?
can a te wa 2/3 fit the HHULB?
is the JRB nest worth it? (which i would have bought at mountain crossing if someone didnt beat me to it over the weekend) if so is it a good idea to add the no Sniveller?

im not complaining about the cost of the nest im just trying to sell most of my possessions and pay off debts before my thru hike next year.

yes, the te-wa fits all HH models. i add a tieout loop to the head end that matches the HH tieout. that holds it in place no matter how much thrashing you may do.
this is beneficial since inside a HH you wont easily be able to fix your UQ if it slips off your shoulder.

Any JRB product is worth its weight in gold, especially when it comes to staying warm.

I will second the endorsement for JRB. I recently got one this summer and I instantly felt the difference.

The next UQ I get will be from JRB (for the GFs' hammock).

I don't have a HHULB but I do have an Expedition and the Yeti fits just fine. The one caveat is that I have the zipper modification on mine which make adjusting the UQ very easy, although I can usually do quick fixes (like making sure the cord is over my shoulder) without having to open the zippers.

I'll jump in on the JRB lovefest too. I have both the HHULB and the HH Explorer UL and the nest works great with either of them.

JS-im in the same boat as you-deciding what UQ to get for my Hammock once I buy it (it will be a WBBB)-dont know if I should go with the JRB or the YETI, have you considered the speer UQ's, they also look really nice....can the no sniveller be used as either an TQ or an UQ....that is the impression I got from the website is that correct
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

You are correct that the no sniveller can be used as either.

I have two sets of JRB quilts, both the same, a nest and no sniveller.

When we have more hangers and hammocks than quilt sets, I use the no snivellers as well as the nests under and sleeping bags as a top quilt.

    thanks a million

now i have to save a few bones and man up and decide which UQ i want now. since now ill have a good UQ ill ditch the sleeping bag and get a TQ. all these choices feel like life and death cuz i dont want to hate something after i buy it.

now does anyone want the supershelter underpad and undercover? heck ill even throw in the hennessy hex tarp and make it a bundle deal for 100 bones.

The JRB Nest is THE underquilt for a Hennessy Hammock. No cold butt syndrome with that thing. Once you get it adjusted the hammock entrance slit velcro holds it in position.
