new hennessy - jungle safari zip - has anybody tried one?

I have the Deep Jungle XL zip AND the Safari and now they have a new hammock which combines the two. Has anybody tried or seen one?

Yes, I would also be interested in any and all reviews. Espeically from those that have or have tried WBBB XLC which I was planning to purchase till this new HH safari zip popped up. I would like to know the comparisons between these two.

I doubt anyone has tried it yet, but it should be great. Looks like they have finally taken a Safari and given it a pad pocket, with 2 layers of lighter material( 2X 40D vs 210D but seems to have the same weight rating of 350) and also designed like the DJ for tying the radiant bubble pad in place. I have always found my single laye, no net Safari to be a main contender for #1 in comfort, so this should be great. For those who have not had one, this might be the longest hammock out there, don't be fooled by the length spec of 112", which seems to be only 4" longer than the Explorer. These are actually RL lengths. These Safari's are extremely long with extreme sag built in, way more than any other HH, and plenty wide also.

I was lucky enough to win the July Gear Grab from Hennessy and due to work and holidays just ordered on Friday.
My Jungle Safari Zip showed up with the mail this morning. Very excited!
Quick to unpack and out to the yard to my hammock trees.
    First impressions.
The hammock is extremely generous in size.
The hammock body is very soft and comfortable with lots of room to spread out
There is a lot of room between the hammock and the ridgeline
With the pad in it seems to be quite warm.
I will be trying it this weekend and will let you know my findings.
    Cheers Kevin

How does this contend with the Deep Jungle? I love my Deep Jungle, definitely not my lightest hang, but super comfy!

Jungle Safari? I love the sound of it! I absolutely love my Safari for kayak camping (the weight of the hammock is no problem whatsoever for me) so this new version really has my attention. I'm looking forward to reviews.

    Hi,

I just ordered one! My first choice was the deep jungle but then I got my eyes on this baby. Main reason for getting the jungle safari and initially the deep jungle is the double layer and bubbel pad insulation. I live in sweden and it can get pretty cold during the nights.

XTZ750, have you tried it out yet? Impressions? Anybody found any review of the jungle safari?

At 4 lbs 4 oz. it is heavier than the Deep Jungle XL and the regular Safari. I love my Deep Jungle XL and at 1 lb 2 oz. heavier, I think I will pass on this hammock. I would like to try one though, just to compare the comfort to my DJ XL.
