    AT thru hike book?

I have read about 10 different accounts of people hiking the AT. What I am really wanting to read is a thru-hikers account of the AT that did mostly hammock camping. It would be great to also hear about their experiences incorporating a hammock and the trials and tribulations of using one. At times I wonder how difficult it would be, troubles they might run into without a tent, etc......

Agree. Loner is a pretty neat character and an extremely ultralight thru hammocker. I love his trash rant in video #67.

Back when I used to read TrailJournals a lot, I read Yoshi's. I think he hiked in 2006. If its the same one I'm thinking of, he used a hammock. It was a good journal to binge read.

I know there are several journals and blogs and videos, just an old traditionalist that likes the printed word. Hopefully someone will come out with something since hammocking is growing soooo rapidly in the hiking and outdoor world.

I know Ken's father-in-law and e-mailed with Ken years ago about his hike. Really nice guy and he used a Hammock the whole trip.

My blog is on Trail Journal under 2012 under Dos. I hammocked the whole way and did another 800 miles this past summer which I e mailed everyday to a handful of people.
Also, I don't know what years she hiked but Certain's AT blog on Trail Journals was hilarious . I was so glad to see hers first .
I also videod a few on my You Tube channel under Two_isles

I erased the one where the four of us hikes into Fontana Dam drunk as hell
