I haven't seen a tutorial, but I just did this. Basically same as xtrekkers method, just make sure you don't sew the outside layer a few feet up from each opposite end so you can slide a pad in.

I understand what ur saying, but my questions are still there. My problem is I am having trouble visualizing the whole package. If I secure it to inside the then I loose access to the dl ( from inside the hammock). I usually put 2 24"wholes equidistant to both ends. So when do you put the zipper in, after the dl is finished, or befor I sew the 2 layers together? Would I also sew the zipper in between the 2 layers on the other side too? If I do all that how to I figure the triangle things in?

It would actually help if I had ever seen a dl sewn in net before. I think I have finally convinced my wife to attend the uwharrie hang, but I need to make her a hammock. I want to experiment with sewn in nets so I am starting to ponder the process.

I just ordered some argon 1.6 from dutch, 8 yards. I will have some time to plan this one out. I may even cut some scraps out of other stuff to get a feel for it.
