i hang my BB level, never have any problems with sliding down.. hanging it with foot end a bit higher just doesnt feel right.
also, i have slid down to get my feet more "into" the footbox, and the ridge that pushes on the calf becomes more pronounced.. and this is with a slightly loose ridgeline.
so if im about equal from head to foot, the sweet spot is there.
i think that it may be harder for folks to find the sweet spot if the ridgeline is like a guitar string.. loosen it a bit. it helped me..

    Agreed.

I agree, just trying different things out trying to find the sweet spot.

Hey, IM ... just wanted to say I enjoy following your threads. Being a noobie myself, I find you ask really good, in depth questions ... which usually result in a lot of good responses. Saves me the trouble of going though the archives. Keep up the good work!!
