    ENO Onelink @ REI today

    Here's the link:

    http://www.rei.com/product/830267/en...tem#reviewsTab

Found it while browsing REI's website looking for labor day deals. Looks like a pretty good deal to me, it doesn't say it comes with guy lines though... can anyone confirm that?

I'm just posting this up in case anyone is looking for a pretty inexpensive all-in-one system. $154.00 is hard to beat for the whole deal... (minus quilts of course... wouldn't that be neat...)

It should come with lines for the tarp guy outs and bugnet ridge line but take the money you saved and give it to Dutch at dutchwaregear.com so you can have a proper ridge line and suspension setup.

If you're really looking for a deal don't get the bundle, get your suspension, bugnet, and tarp separately. Great finds in the for-sale forum on here.

I give it 5 stars....even though I nearly ended up on the ground.

Don't have anything negative to say about it yet and I doubt I will anytime soon.

    Who writes these reviews?

No worries, my link says size and color out of stock, but can be back ordered.

First, I'm not an ENO hater -- I love my DN. My first setup was a DN, Atlas Straps, and a Guardian Bug Net.

That said, I feel that this is a lot of "almost" gear. The Profly is almost big enough, the Atlas Straps are almost light enough. And the Guardian bug net (which I own) is almost... no, it's actually just a big, heavy PITA. (It's still sitting in my basement after only one use.)

While this would get you up and hanging ASAP, I think any serious hanger will be replacing a lot of this gear very quickly. This falls under the "buy cheap, buy twice" category for me.

...and unfortunately it isn't always cheap. I own a DN, the guardian bug net, the profly, and the housefly and I agree with dfscott. You can't get a warbonnet via amazon prime unfortunately. For $150 bucks there are other options. Now the price is $219 so if anyone comes across this thread interested in the expired sale I'd have a look at the Beyer, and the Hennessy...unless you care to shop outside of REI in which case the rest of this forum will help you.

Replace the suspension, replace the tarp, add SRL. The asking price really isn't $219 now is it?

I guess cottage isn't exactly the most expensive way to go. Nice to see Eno keep plugging along with new and innovative designs, built on the input of several different ad execs at once.
