It was actually quite nice. As far as piece and quiet goes, that was not an issue anytime or anywhere during the 3 days. Never slept within sight or ear shot of anyone, and just saw a handfull of hikers during the whole trip.Originally Posted by STinGa

I didn't have the hammock set up at the lake. I got there at lunch and it was raining so I set up the tarp for my lunch break. Beautiful all the same... Yeah the fatwood is great fun to make and works pretty well depending on conditions. Like I said the second night it worked great...
this year I'm selling off my ground equipment, so I will be in the tree's late this year or early next year. Maybe we can get a group hang together for next year.
