Yes I was planning on going the 20 to 75 route. What do you estimate the drive time is that way?

It is about 4 hours to Stanley from Mt Home (where I am) and about 30-40 minutes from Boise to here. We will be stoping about 20 minutes before Stanley. Sooooo Just over 4 hours depending on stops along the way. One thing I will add for all that are going that way---Really watch your speed as you go through any towns. Especially Belvue, Haily and Ketchum, the cops in these little towns are very watchful of non local license plates and try and support the entire economy with speeding tickets. Most of them have you drop from 65 to 25 in a couple hundred yards so it is easy to go sailing into town and not even realize the change happened.

On the way up that route there are a couple of decent burger/milk shake shops and very little fast food. As you enter Haily and are passing the airport the road makes a S curve, on the right side at the stop light at the base of the S is Snow Bunny drive in. They are not real quick but good food.

Paul I can bring some a couple chairs, grill, lantern, table, etc. to make the first night more comfortable. Maybe a pasta salad, burgers and any other food you think we might need. Let me know.

Drive Safe Dave, See you in a couple days.

KSC, the grill sounds good, I could not find a small one at the store, I am going to throw in a couple camp chairs, if you have a couple more that would be cool. Dave said he had a bunch of meat to bring so we should be covered on that but sides like the pasta would be good.

Cheyenne, morning coffee and a biscuit.

I have a little Weber with me, too. The feast is a go.

Wyoming I80...antelope, wind farms, mining spoil, miles and miles of snow fence... a brutalized landscape.

    Utah...one word: gorgeous.

Twin Falls, ID for the night and a shower...see you peeps Wednesday!

Sounds like the "High Plains Drifter" aka "Olde Hippy Dude" is flying nap of the earth, making note of each river, and listening to Goldie oldies on the truck's stereo. Bringing the deer meat and some tall tales for the campfire.

You boys have fun in them there Sawtooths, and don't forget to make up really good lies for us to read.
