    OES Cuben Maccat Standard

Hey folks, been a while. Thinking about getting a full length UQ and was looking through my gear closet and came across my OES Cuben Maccat Standard, which hasn't seen much use since I started using a bridge. I know this tarp isn't available in cuben anymore, and it wasn't when I purchased it two years ago. I'm curious what it might be worth, thoughts?

Well the Hammock Gear Hex tarp (10') is 5" shorter on the ridge line and 18" wider. That sells for $225. The McCat tarps are as constructed as well or better than any on the market IMHO. It really all depends on how much use it's seen.

The original owner used it twice, it was sold to a user here (that I don't think ever used it other than to set it up possibly), and then sold to me a few weeks later, and I used it once. It's hung in the closet since then. Do you think it has any extra value to any of the collectors/gearheads, or is it only worth what I paid for it? Thanks for the feedback.

Without sounding like a jerk, I hope, it's worth what someone will pay you for it. No more, no less.

Well... I assumed as much. Which is why I started a thread to find out what some people would pay.

Thanks, this is more the information I was looking. Still not considered very special.
There are a few items, black blackbirds, JRB Stealths (when they could be TQ or UQ), retired ULA packs, etc. that were worth a little more money because they weren't made anymore.

My rule of thumb is that used gear purchased on the World Wide Web is worth about half of original purchase price. Since you asked for a guideline.

Just trying to ask opinions for this specific piece of equipment. I've never seen cuben or down go for half the original price - I think that's a very irresponsible thing to suggest to someone. They could stand to lose out on money they might have needed.
