    UKHammocks EDC zips?

    Hi all

I am hoping some of you have the UKHammocks EDC hammock for your gear? I got mine today and it's only got the one zip pull? Should it not have 2? One on each end so you can close the zips on themselves rather than being limited to it opening from one end each time?

If anyone can let me know if I have a duff before going back to the shop that would be great!

    Thanks

I have one and it has one zipper. I do really like it, however, on their website youtube clip they said it would be fitted with amsteel line but I got 550 paracord. Paracord is not strong enough and has too much flex in my opinion so I will be swapping them out for dyneema lines. On the product description page it does say fitted with 550 so a bit confusing. BUT it is a nice little hammock.

Thanks! At least I know I gave jot got a duff! Guess I will have to add an additional slider then! Yeah I noticed that too! My plan is to use this as a gear loft anyway so 550 should be good enough for my kit! Will see at the end of the month! Failing that I'll swap them out too! Great little product though and well impressed with how small it compresses!

I have one with one zip (which is not waterproof*). I learnt quickly to put stuff needed often in so it is accessible at the closed zip end.

    * I fashioned a cheap tarp to drape across when I cant locate it under my hammock tarp and rain is expected.
