    Temperature ranges for various configurations?

I've been searching for an existing post on the subject, but haven't had much luck finding the right search terms. I know temperature ranges vary greatly from person to person. I'm just looking for a safe guideline.
I'm going to be using a ridgerunner hammock.
    For example:
    1) Wal-Mart CCF Pad + 3-Season Torso length UQ + 3-season TQ
    2) Wal-mart CCF Pad + Winter Full length UQ + Winter TQ

If there is already a post on this, point it out please. Thanks.

The variance betweeen people is so great I wouldnt even try to generalize. It even change within a person depending on how often one is out in the extreme temps. Knowing how different configs work for an individual is vital to optimizing ones system, but more importantly you will know how to augment when the situation changes from the expected. What works for me at certain temps changes from year to year depending on how acclimated I get that year.

You can find the 'r value' for most sleeping pads...although how that translates to warmth in a hammock is left as an exercise to the user. Most of the TQs and UQs come with a "rating" for comfort down to x degrees...even there, though, some folks sleep hot, and others sleep cold.

You won't need a pad with a full winter UQ.
I would consider a pair of 20F quilts you will get a lot more use from them.
With the proper sleep clothing and an UQ protector or sock I have no trouble doing +5F in Colorado.

I've never experimented with pads AND underquilts simultaneously (except for a small ccf pad in the TQ footbox). I used a full-length pad down to 22 degrees with a synthetic bag, but couldn't tolerate the condensation so I moved to a down UQ - no more condensation. I'm concerned that there will be condensation using a pad in combination with down TQ/UQ, thereby reducing the effectiveness of down insulation.

I'm with you SS. I started out with pads and that whole sweaty back, clammy damp feeling from head to toe in the morning turned me to quilts pretty fast.
