Rope suspension

Good news. The first Cabel's store in NC will soon open and it is just 2 miles from my house. They sell hammocks. Good news right? Well I just looked at their web site and saw rope suspension on all the hammocks they sell. Bayer even has an add for a rope suspension kit. How can this happen? Do these people do any research into customer opinion? Well I just remembered I am a Hennessy owner so I guess that a lot of hammock companies just copy what is out there. By the way my hammocks hung from the stock ropes only for the first night I owned the first one.

I may not be Cabel's favorite customer. Actually I was thinking that would be a good place for a retired person to get a part time job.
Just had to vent a little after reading HF this morning. Ropes were a hot topic.

But remember, you HH suspension also included wide straps, short, but straps to take the main pressure. The hammocks you refer to are truly using just rope.
