    Jarbridge for HH

    Hey,
I own a Hennessy Explorer bottom entry. I'm looking to switch from a sleeping pad to an UQ in a cost effective way. Like the title says, do you think it's possible to use the Jarbridge for a bottom entry Hennessy hammock? I would rather spend $100 instead of $190. Other than the side loops which line up with the asymmetrical shape of the HH is the Potomac all that different? Any help is appreciated

Absolutely it is possible. I use a jarbidge on an expedition and a safari. I've had zipper mods done on the hammocks but you can easily use the bottom entry with a jarbidge.

I imagine you can I use a expedition with zipper but I can see moving the jarbidge to the side and getting in then moving to where you need it. I always check to see where it is when I am in the hammock.

Thanks a lot Philsweep and Banjoman. I think that this will be my next purchase for my hammock. I've read great reviews, and I feel like it will work great. Where did you get your zipper mod done Banjoman?

The one and only 2QZQ, of course . They are on the forum, and are great to work with.

I have to echo Banjoman on both the Jarbidge with a HH exped and on the 2QZQ. Both are awesome.

For bottom entry, just move the quilt to the side to get in, re-position the quilt and rack out!

I've only used my Jarbridge with my bottom entry HH ULBP a few times, but I just slid the UQ forward to get in/out (with a home made triangle thinge on foot end). Easier than re-positioning it after moving it to the side. (I only use my HH in the summer (bug season) and find the pad adequate.) The Jarbridge is my main choice for my gathered end hammock - AHE/Paul provides a good product with an amazing temp range.

Haven't been on the forum in a while.... But it didn't work for me. ( jarbidge + HH ) I went bridge, and all my issues dissapeared!

Thanks man, kind of what I figured, but I thought I would ask. I'll look into it.

yes its really easy actually. i have the zip, my brother as the bottom entry. the quilt works wonderfully for both. he recently ordered the full length potomac kaq though. i recommend that you watch paul's (the kaq owener/maker/awesome guy) video on the potomac and a bottom entry. it is the some process for entering the hh as with the jarbidge. http://www.arrowhead-equipment.com/s...der_Quilt.html
