It is so hard to troubleshoot fitment issues with one dark photo.
Do you know any other seasoned hammock camper that could help you fit the UQ while you are in it?
Many here on the forum have gone thru the UQ fitting learning curve.

Before you go buy a bunch of gadets
I recommend you do a backyard or local park setup and take lots of photo's preferably with someone in the hammock.
No need to put the tarp up it just blocks the view and light. If you do this I am pretty sure we can help you.

Will do then (at some point, busy this week).

I'm sure a picture would help troubleshoot the issue.

I had the same thing happen last night on the same hammock. I tried the end shock cord loose and whole quilt ended up under the shelf .I tried playing with the suspension channel (loosening and tightening) same result. Whole quilt ended under shelf. I first thought shock cord may be too short, but I watched the setup video and I'm not lifting the hammock nearly as much as the one in the video. I may try triangle thingies tonight as I threw a pair in the bag. Fun experimenting and learning.

Could not keep the quilt in place using stock suspension. Added 6 inch loop on one end and whole quilt ended up under xlc shelf even when I had cord lock completely loosened. Gave up and installed triangle thingies. Worked well. I'll experiment further. I'd like to make it work without triangle thingies. Don't use them on my other quilt with the xlc.

Try laying in it and having someone else adjust it
