The start of a new chapter!

    Hello all!

Greetings from Massachusetts! I grew up in Colorado and am a long time camper (50+ years), long time backpacker (40+ years), Eagle Scout (built a mile of the new Colorado Trail as my Eagle project), Army vet (retired after 29 years, different kind of "camping"), trailer camper (4 years) and completely new to hammocks.

Got inspired last year mostly by Shug's videos with a little of Professor Hammock/Grizz on the side. Been a lurker here for a couple of months. Just got a Warbonnet Ridgerunner with whoopies and some Dutch Bling to boot. Time for some new gear, a new camping chapter and lots of good times!

As we said in the Army . . . HOOAH!!

Welcome to HF from Georgia. Sounds like you're on your way to some comfy nights in the piney woods.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!
