Here is a sneak peak. Doors on one end only and single panel pulls on each side. I plan on doing a full video preview soon.

Wow a custom hammock tarp for what did you call it in your latest video? "Flying wing" or something like that.

That is exactly what I was going for O&B. For the past 2 years, no matter the weather conditions, I continued to find myself going back to the same tarp configuration. Doors (attached or added) closed on my head end and both of the ends on the feet in porch mode. I started calling it the "Flying V" from the classic move the Mighty Ducks. It became my favorite because I can look out on either side and it provides wind and weather protection on my head.

This is quite apropos, I was having the same thought this past weekend.. love the doors on the head end, find dealing with them on the foot end a little frustrating/superfluous at times. Side porch mode requires doors to be staked or attached on the inside somehow (my CF WP doesn't have tabs on the inside for this..), and in side porch mode you only get a one-sided view. Which can be good or bad I guess. I like the SF style pole mod w/ two poles, but really since I enter and leave from the foot end 90% of the time and my head end is so much lower I don't really need them both. So I'm feeling you on this.

Are you going to have doors made for foot end for winter hanging, or use a poncho, or just deal with it? Plan on doing single over the RL pole for more room?

What camo pattern is that? It looks like it would disappear in the woods. I'd be afraid I'd walk away from my hammock and not be able to find it again.

My intention for this is to be my 3 season tarp and use my OldManWinter or SuperFly for winter, so no doors ever on the foot end. How I got to this design was by way of my Tadpole. I had a single door for the head end and a single panel pull in the middle with a DIY pole mod. This tarp was perfect for me, in any weather with all in weight at about 22oz. Once I got to my answer the question became when to pull trigger for cuben.

Yes, I will use a single pole mod.
