Lately I don't consistently get the popup window when a PM comes in. Why would I get it sometimes, and not others?
I (lazily) rely on the popup and don't automatically look to the top of the screen for a number beside the "NOTIFICATIONS" link. Note that even when the popup doesn't appear, the number is there.
I ask because this has caused me to miss some important communication with other members.

FWIW...I've been getting the PM popup notices.
I also get email notices for PMs.

This happens to me once in a great while but seems to fix itself and start working again ??? i just got into the habit of looking up when i first log on and every so often, before you know it you'll be in the habit and catch them before the pop up most of the time anyway.
I am not sure what would cause this. I have not problem getting pop up notices. Maybe try clearing your cache and see if that helps but that is just a guess.

Yeah I clear it regularly so I don't get it either. I see the popup over half the time. And it only started perhaps last month or two.
Do you have any extensions/plugins installed geared at preventing ads/javascript from being displayed/run?
