Yea, there was quite a storm last nite, and today on Ravens Cliff (i can see it from my house), but the weekend looks like it will be beautiful.
I'll be there Fri. late afternoon, and look forward to meeting ya'll.

I'm still planning to drive up after work and be there sometime after 6:30 and will also bring some firewood to contribute. Will just be able to stay Friday night, but it will be good to see everyone and new folks as well.

I should be there by early afternoon friday. Hermit and I will be traveling together. I'm looking forward to this, since I was home last week and weekend with pink-eye. No worries, it is all gone.

I am talking to Charles (4hats) as I type and he is planning on going. I cannot. One of our closest friends here in Garner died suddenly Monday night. We will have to be here this week. I have been trying to be content with hanging in my backyard from time to time in the afternoon. That brings me to a thought I had a day or so before all these storms blew in. While lying in my $25.00 Equip hammock looking up at blue skies, feeling a 70 degree breeze I tried to think just how do you describe this level of comfort and contentment to someone who does not have hammock experience. Well I can't. I only have a theory. It must be how a baby feels when being snuggled in it's Mothers arms.
