Here's the parking lot: 47.41464,-91.275192
Here's roughly where the 2014 FBH was held down the Moose Walk Trail: 47.40397,-91.294048

When your going north on hwy 1 there will be a general store on your right in Finland, if I remember correctly it's the next left turn. Go down a short ways and the parking lot will be on your left. Follow the snowmobile trail down till you hear the all out debachery of the group.

Hope this helps otherwise I'm sure Kaycee or others can give you better directions.

After the General Store, pic below, turn left on Hefflefinger Rd, there is a bar on the corner. Follow road to the turn around, a couple miles.

Here is last years maps to the site though where we camped last year is off to the right before you get to where the previous years were as shown on the maps in this old thread....

I plan on putting these up one on the snowmobile trail and one on the road so hopefully nobody will miss the turn into the trail where the camp is. The snowflake is reflective, had to make it look like I was being festive while making them at work!

Do locals know this takes place, or are they going to be scratching their heads trying to figure out what FBH 15 means? "I got it, Frozen Beaver Hunt!" A few weeks ago when a few of us were there, we followed a blood trail to a beaver bond, frozen over, with 4 traps around the beaver lodge. Very interesting.

I don't know If I can make it, I need some more experience before I can do something like this, and besides that weekend is trout opener. I still might stop by and say "hello"

So is anyone bringing a parachute? It was a nice touch last year. I was gonna bring a tarp and rope to string up. Has anyone else thought about tarps and such to set up around the main camp area?

Also, anyone nearby on the north Shore know how much snow we are looking at up there?
