I am new to the hammock game and I am looking for a heavy duty bridge style hammock. I weigh a little over 300# and suspect that I may need to make it my self. I am ok with that. Any suggestions on where to buy a heavy duty hammock or suggestions on fabric?
Lots of fabrics out there and you will need to make it a double layer. A 1.6 to 1.9 should be be strong enough.

I weight 275 and I will probably be doing a DIY bridge.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
Just about any of the 1.6 or 1.9 ripstop will work. I'm partial to the Argon 1.6 or Hyper D 1.6, both support me in a single layer bridge and I'm back up to 275.
