    Mamba TQ sizing

So I'm seriously giving thought to getting a Mamba TQ (maybe winter Mamba) and had a question about sizing. I know on the WB website it says regular is good to 5'10" and XL to 6'4". I'm sitting the sweet spot at 5'11"-6' 210lbs depending on the day. Would a regular be sufficient in terms of coverage, or just bite the cost and weight bullet for the XL? Thanks!

I am 6' 2", 220#. I have the 20 degree regular length Black Mamba top quilt. I feel that it is long enough, and plenty warm. I also use the 3 season Yeti. Considering winter gear I would recommend the winter UQ as much more desirable that the winter TQ. Really depends on actual usage. I pulk gear in winter, and along with the 3S Yeti, have used a wool blanket folded between the two layers of the 1.7 WBBB, smartwool tops and bottoms and feathered friends down booties as needed. Hope this helps...

Thanks for the reply! I have a 3 season Yeti UQ and find that it is quite toasty. I was potentially considering a winter mamba just to start to augment my cold weather gear, but that being said, I live in Virginia, where the lowest we'll usually get is 15-20 degrees. Maybe a 3 season Mamba looks to be in my future.

    Thanks for info!
