    Thanks for that! I've done a couple of 12-hr stints in my hammocks as well, and indeed, that first sip of coffee after a solid night's sleep... there's just nothing like it! Can't find the words to describe it even, so thanks a lot for bringing us along to experience that moment with you! With my next trip lying in an uncertain future, it's wonderful that there's these great reports and videos that you et.al. churn out in this forum section!

    The hardest part after all that good snooze time is getting out to go fetch the food bag)))) And yes, that first sip is Java-Bliss.

    The benefit of camping in non-bear country: you can prepare the pot with grounds and water when you go to bed, so that all you do in the morning is lean out of the hammock and light the stove.. The coffee will force you up soon enough though!
