I have just received my snake skins and I am kind of at a loss for how to put them on for the first time. Do i need to hang the tarp and then do it or can i put them on without it being hung?

You don't really need to hang them to start off with but it might help make things easier. Find your tarps ridge line tie outs on each end, feed the line through the larger opening on the snake skin and pull it out the other side of the skins. You can roll the tarp into a cylinder shape or just cram them in as you pull up the skins along the tarp. Repeat on the opposite side.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!
I think I tied a small metal washer to the end of my ridgeline string to help get it thru the snakeskin the first time.

Does anybody know if the snake skins will work on any tarp set up???
mainly the Vertex tarp from clark??? i loved the skins on my old HH... and my sisters scout made it work with ease!
didnt wanna just go purchase a pair if it wouldn't work for some silly reason!
