My very first overnight in a hammock!- With my Dog

For some time now I have been bringing my hammock along on tent camping trips for naps. I FINALLY just decided to go for it since here in northwest Missouri we are having a little bit of warm weather. It was in the 70's yesterday got down below 60F last night. My setup was:

Yukon Outfitters Tarp
Traveler Lite hammock
a home made poncho liner under quilt with 5 layers of high loft poly batting
a 40 degree walmart sleeping bag
some tree straps / whoopieslings / guy lines from WS.com

The dog and I were warm and toasty all night

Sounds like a good time. Buddy is never far from my side while out in the piney woods. Just wouldn't be the same without the pup.

Yes our little dog likes to sleep in the hammock with the wife, he does a great job with her.
