The wife and I love your vids Syntax. We are just building our backpacking setups and the information and entertainment you provide is great. Keep up the good work. I would love to fly up and hike some of the trails that you have video'd.
Good to see you here on the forums, Sin. Been watching your videos for quite a while and really enjoy them, it's been fun to see the transition from your early videos to where you are now. Thanks for sharing, enjoyed the review especially since I've been considering this model as my next hammock.
Nice to see you here sintax. The last vid of yours that I saw was where your buddy forgot his shoes lol. Good trip vid on that one.
@Sintax77 Any idea when you will be posting your first adventure with the new rig?
Like you I have been using a HH Expedition but your review has me eyeballing the Darien. The www.dream-hammock.com website has a red letter notice that they are no longer accepting orders for single layer hammocks using 1.0 & 1.5oz fabrics. I am still interested in the Darien but wonder it is a fabric supply or durability issue.
Love your channel, thanks for posting!

Some are obsessed with weight. While I am pretty weight conscious, I'd save some ounces somewhere else and not on something like what I am sleeping on every night and something that is one of the bigger purchases you will make with UL gear. The difference in weight for a Darien 1.0 and 1.6 is less than 4oz.

Thanks for the reply @PaPaSmurf I look forward to purchase very soon, I just don't know if it will be this year or first quarter 2015. We are planning several family trips to the slopes this ski season so every c-note matters. I look forward to trying out your product. Thanks for your work.
I'm that guy from YouTube that likes to walk around in the woods and talk to a camera... Check me out on Youtube, Sintax77.com, Twitter or Facebook
Well done Sintax77. I saw your video on youtube about the hammock sometime last week and enjoyed hearing you talk about the Dream Hammock.
Is it hang time yet?
