Do you use a pillow in your hammock or not?
If so what size/kind do you use?

My buddy just used a ENO pillow and he said he wouldn't camp without it .
I use a shirt as a pillow.

I like to. For car/canoe camping I bring a little camp pillow from REI. It's blue, about 9"x12" and works great.
For backpacking.. I fold my fleece sweater (hard to describe how I do it.. you just have to experiment) and tie the sleeves to hold it all together and keep it as a bundle.
I used to put clothes in a stuff sac.. but found I don't like nylon pillows. I guess I could sew a little fleece stuff sack to use as a pillow.. Hmm.. got me thinking.. lol
I use a small, stuffable backpacking pillow, under my neck.

I use a bean bag, 'U' shaped, travel pillow. It stays with me when I move around at night.

I do the clothes stuffed in the bag, most of the time. I do carry a small camp pillow (don't remember the brand) on occassion. It is lightweight and has a comfy fleece cover on it.

I learned a neat pillow trick from one of Shug's videos. When backpacking I put clothes in stuff sack with long drawstring and then attach string to ridgeline with small s-biner. The string keeps stuff sack from falling out of hammock or dropping down your back if you happen to move around. I added to the string of my stuff sack so it hangs in just the right place. So even when I move around, the pillow stays just where I need it.
When I car camp, I have a small pillow that fits into the same stuff sack to keep the pillow in place.
I also have a gallon ziplock bag that I put my DriDucks jacket into and then I use that for under my knees. With ziplock, doesn't matter if jacket is wet from hiking. And it keeps jacket handy so I know exactly where it is if I need it in middle of night if it's raining and I have to go for bio break. Or for morning rain shower.

I usually carry a Flex Air type pillow which came with my Speer a couple of years ago. Very comfortable, just .75oz, and it keeps my head and face from getting buried in the WBBB. I seldom carry enough spare clothes to make a decent pillow from the storage bag, but whenever carrying my Montbell Down Inner Parka I leave the Flew Air at home.
