If the post in question isn't relevant to the sale of the item it may be deleted. The main reason for this is we have to keep track of what threads need to be closed once all items are sold. The more chit-chat the harder it is for us to make that determination.

I have used the FS section a lot since I've been a member here.
What I have seen in the past is if you are not the seller or an interested buyer its best to not post general comments pro or con.
IMO the FS section is not the place for general discussion on the item being sold.
Here's a prior thread with relevant content that may help... https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...thread-removal
In general, if a post is not from an interested buyer or the seller or answering an interested buyer's question for the seller, it falls into the "discussion" category and may be removed.
Thanks for the swift reply folks!
Good Questions.
For Sale forum rules
"1. You must have a minimum of 50 posts before starting a new For Sale thread. Bypassing this rule by posting rapidly to raise your post count is not allowed, and will result in loss of access to the Marketplace forums. There is no minimum for posting in the 'Want To Buy (WTB)' subforum."
This includes spamming your items for sale in old WTB threads.
Do it again and you will be banned from HF.
