Forgive me for posting elsewhere but I think this is the right place.

I need a recommendation on a four night loop in the GMSNP. Ive hiked but been a while. Some climb is fine but nothing that is a continuous nut buster. Want to stop and smell the roses. Hangout. About 30 miles or so. I thought about Big Creek campground up Davenport Gap over AT and down Low Gap to #37. Gubter Fork to Laurel Gap Shelter and Mount Sterling Ridge to #38 for fourth night. Out Baxter Creek Trail back to Big Creek Camp.

Any suggestions or improvements or different loop?

I live next to the park and have a lot of all the trails. First I will tell you that there are not many loops that you will not find climbing absent. However, the trail you picked is not that bad and you will enjoy the views along the trail. Remember you set the pace and once you are on top the ridge does flatten out some what. Have a great hike.
