WTB: Hammock for my 13 year old son . . . need hammock and suspension

    Hi All,

My son is 5'8 and weights 135. I'm looking for a good (inexpensive) hammock for him. I would like a asym (flat lay) hammock preferably with suspension and a bug sock/net. What do you guys have for sale? This is his first, so not sure if he'll stick with it. . . . that's why inexpensive is better.

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

I do not have one to sell. However, what you can do is buy a nicer hammock (warbonnet, hennessy, dream hammock), etc for more, and if he does not like, you can sell it pretty quickly back to the forums (and only be out the difference in price between the rate of a new hammock vs the rate of a like new hammock). I originally bought a really cheap hammock off of amazon (no bug net) and hated it because it was not comfortable and hyper-extended my knees. I then decided to get a much nicer hammock and have not looked back. There is a danger in buying an inexpensive hammock and having it be uncomfortable (there are plenty of cheaper hammocks that are comfortable) leading to your son deciding that all hammocks are bad and not worth investing time into as a hobby.

Thanks for the responses, but looks like we decided to stay on the ground for another year
