I was inspired by your post, and ordered 400 ft. myself. I have been helping out another hammock noob, and am burning through my original supply pretty quickly.

So I was really proud of myself... Got the email from West (normally would have immediately gone out and ordered 500 or so feet ) and I deleted the email....

Dutch has my business from now on...

Whelp, been eying some Amsteel for a while now and hesitating to pull the trigger. I take this as a sign. I, too, grabbed 400'. Time to get crafty!

Good on ya FJRPilot and Zilla. I am new to this hammock stuff so maybe I have no right to say this in the first place, but I have to agree with you.

That is a great deal but even with the huge 40% off sale, the 180' spool of lash it only comes out to $4 cheaper than Dutch's regular price. I like the fact that Dutch isn't trying to rip me off in the first place by keeping his prices reasonable. But I do understand that people want the best deal they can find, can't blame them for that.

I agree as well. I whole heartedly support the cottage vindors on this site. I haven't purchased from Dutch as of yet but I certainly plan to. His Dutch Bling is the final stage of my entire DIY setup. I also enjoy his videos. Certainly no disrespect intended. I was just sharing the info. For a DIY addict like myself, Dutch and all the other vendors are my heros. And Dutch, if you read this, expect an order for a wide assortment of Dutch Bling.

No disrespect observed, I certainly didn't mean that folks should not post information like this to the forum. I also am always looking for the best deal I can get. But for me, the best value is not always about the lowest price.
