10ft or 11ft Hammock with Dynaglide UCR's

I am just starting to build a new hammock with Dutch's Argon fabric. I am 6ft and have only ever used a 10ft hammock. Seems like a no-brainer to me to try an 11ft hammock, I know that I could have problems with the length of my tarp but is there anything else? is everybody more comfortable with an 11ft?
I was planning to make Dynaglide UCR's for the suspension, I try to blend in a little but the colours of the Dynaglide are ...shocking..I do not want to damage the integrity of the line but has anyone tried dying or coloring the cord ?

I bought 4 yards of the argon and whipped it starting with the full 12 feet. I then rewhipped and rehung with the hammock being functionally 6 inches smaller each time. I stopped at about 9 feet where it felt noticeably less comfy. So I cut it to make a 9.5. If I were to do it again, I probably would make it 10. My larger point is that you can start with 11 feet of cloth but tie it to 10 and see what you think.

The dynaglide color will soften up with a little use. Never tried dying it. You could use 7/64 Amstel as it comes in many colors. Grey is good for blending in and the weight penalty is minimal.

I'm 6'2 and it's got to be an 11 footer for me, makes all the differace in the world.imo
