If I were to buy a commercial stand, I'd want this one. Mostly because it's adjustable and should accommodate any of my camping hammocks.
That looks exactly like my Byer, I mean exactly, except the knobs on the bottom of mine stick out to the side rather than the top. Anyway, you don't really need the knobs- that bottom part doesn't really move after you get it situated.

You said you returned the Pawley Island stand, but if I was only using it in the backyard for my Clark and Jungle Hammock, don't you think it is worth it for
$45 +tax out the door?
