With the very reality of those ever elusive Ti cinch buckles from Sir Dutch hitting his web store nearing I thought it would be interesting to discuss what would be the lightest cinch buckle setup could be now.
I have a couple of the Harbor Freight yellow cargo straps, those seem to be the thinnest and lightest straps used for hammock hanging. I've tried to find those on the harbor freight website a while back and just now and have yet to find them so I think I'll try to swing by at lunch today and see if I can scoop up some if I can.
So, what are the lightest and most compact straps available one could hang with. I seem to remember those harbor freight straps were rated around a 1000 lbs since the same straps were used on tiedowns with heavier duty ratcheting buckles.
