I finally worked out all the details and I made the Titanium Cinch Buckles. It works pretty much like the steel version with the exception that it has a V in the back to prevent twisting and use less amsteel. In my breakage test, the webbing broke first. I was using 1500 pound breaking point webbing and it broke at 1250-1300 pounds with no visible damage to the buckle. The best part is they are only 9.5 grams each. I know I am going to sell out of these but there are more in production. This is a huge weight savings over the traditional ones.
