Wad it up and shove it in the outside mesh pocket on my backpack? That's what I do with my silnylon tarp.

Whatever the lightest is? They both have different storage methods. And since you're going cuben, might as well get the lightest storage bag.

Is it just me, or does not make sense that a cuben fiber tarp doesn't include a bag?

I use a ridgeline for cuben tarp, and hang it underneath. I leave the tarp attached to the ridgeline, and start rolling it up from one end, as I roll up from one end of the ridgeline to the other, I just fold in the guylines into the tarp and continue rolling. When I get to the other end of the ridgeline, my tarp now looks like a long thin tube. I now detatch one end of the tarp from the ridgeline and roll it up longways. When I get to the other end of the ridgeline, I now have a softball sized lump of cuben that I stuff into a stuff sack. I then detach the ridgeline from the trees and wrap it around the outside of my stuff sack.

I have tried doing this with silnylon, but it was far to slippery to easily roll up this way.

I use to roll and or fold tarps. Made some noseeum snakeskins (2 sides) and never thought putting a tarp away or hanging one could be so easy. Once in the skins I stuff the whole thing into a small stuff sack.
