    Hello

Been lurking around for 6 months and figured I'd better sign up. I found this site through Just Jeff's site. I found his while doing a google search for lightweight hiking gear for my B.O.B. I thought this hammock thing might get me and my bad back, back to roughing it while camping. So I made one and love it! Thanks Jeff!

Well for years my camping has been limited to popup' camping. My wife will not step foot in a tent. I am originally from West Virginia so I'm used to the woods, but my wife's first time camping was an all week rain soaked tent event @ a 4 wheel drive jamboree and has refused to "rough it since"!

    Welcome to the forum HangingDawg!
You've made an excellent decision to explore the world of hammocks. My girlfriend and I went car camping a couple of weekends ago and saw a guy sleeping in his hammock outside the pop-up trailer. My kind of people.

Yeah, that tarp is about as simple as hitting sombody in the back of their head with a bottle to get their attention is subtle. I like that tarp, just don't know if I'm up for it "yet".
