VIDEO...GSMNP Fork Ridge to Mingus Mill

Did a 3 day backpacking trip to the GSMNP last week with Paddlemule, Chris and Todd, the latter 2 being ground dwellers but probably very soon convertees. It was kind of one of those areas where you see a lot but it's hard to get on film. Almost no color change in the trees yet and a little hard to get a panoramic view. The designated campsites we chose were a little difficult in finding good trees but we managed and it was a good thing that we all weren't in hammocks. It was a good trip and I hope you enjoy watching.

Great video, and an awesome looking trip. I"ve spent very little time in the Smokies and loved it. I really enjoyed seeing the log foot bridges and moss covered rocks, brings back some good memories. Thanks for sharing.

There were quite a few of the log bridges and the moss gave good traction. Without the moss they were kinda slick. Thanks for watching.
