    Red face video. Santiago Lake, Pecos wilderness, NM Part 1

    Here's a trip I did last weekend in the Pecos Wilderness in New Mexico.
    A pretty brutal hike on unmaintained and unmarked trails for the most part. Definitely worth the effort though, beautiful, and we did not see a soul for the whole 3 days of backpacking. other hikers were ground dwellers

    Thanks kefwalker. I thought I had pretty much gone everywhere in the Pecos but I had never even heard of lake santiago and pacheco lake! Access is from the Mora side of the wilderness. Rough 4x4 roads to get there and rough hiking but we had a blast!
