    Hot Springs Fall 2014

On behalf of all that helped organize this event, we'd like to thank all whom attended and made it what it was.

Thanks to all who brought in the great food.

A special thanks to Kimchi and Little Debbie for leading our hike on Saturday.

It was great to see old friends and make new friends. Hot Springs is always a winner.

I am sorry I missed it. One of these days I am going to be able to make a hang outside of uwharrie. I wish I had another car and more time.

Thanks, RF and HB, for putting on this hang and to all the people who contributed food. I had fun, got to see some old friends and got to meet some new ones. The highlight was when you guys stood on the back end of the pop-up camper and whipped it around to face the other way. I wish I would have videoed that!
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!

A BIGGGG "thank-you" to you guys and gals (RF, Loki, HB, CB, GrannyPat, etc) for getting this successful hang together. It's not every camping trip that you get to hike the entire width of the Appalachian Trail, eat a good group meal together and finish it off with Peach Cobbler freshly made in a Dutch Oven! And isn't Hot Springs the greatest little town in the world?!
It was great to meet with all the hammock-ers and I look forward to the next one.
Fortran and his AT wife need to spend more time with us on the next one. (I'm the guy with the Transit Connect, Fortran)

Really enjoyed Hot Springs this year.
Like every year, this little hiker town provides the best combination of car camping, restaurants, hiking, and river delights while we fellowship with old friends and get to know new friends. Already looking forward to next year's hang at Hot Springs, NC.

Many thanks to HB and RF for making this year's hang especially fun (and filling too)!

Aaaaaaaannndh,,, I've now doubled my AT section-Hike mileage too! Did we have a perfect weather day for hiking or what??

I just hope I haven't been replaced in the chili department. Roger, thanks for getting it done.
