    Another happy customer

Received my Jarbidge UQ a little while ago (although missed out on the sale by a few days, unfortunately) and had a chance to use it this weekend on the Mantario trail. Temps dipped to around freezing and it was quite windy and raining. With the windchill it was about 20°. Even got about half an inch of snow, although that thankfully disappeared by the next day.

Just gotta say, this UQ is awesome! Easy to setup and kept me warm all night, using my down army sleeping bag as a TQ. At $100, this UQ is a bargain for the build and material quality, not to mention the great service from Paul. For those of you paid less than full price, it's a steal! The only gripe I have its its a bit bulky, given that it's synthetic, but not unreasonably so. Actually, it squeezed up nicely in my granite gear compression sack quite nicely to about half the size of the included stuff sack.

While you can get comparable 3/4 down UQs to compress a little more and weigh a little less, unless you are a space or weight weenie, you probably won't even notice the extra volume or roughly 4 extra ounces. And while all the available 3/4 down UQs from various sellers cost at least twice as much, you can't convince me that they are twice as good.

If you still haven't made up your mind yet even after all the glowing testimonials on wether you should pick up a Jarbidge, just stop waffling and get one! Even at full price, it is a phenomenal value and a great piece of gear!

Here is mine in use on the Mantario from this past weekend...

I have several of the Jarbrige UQ and they have been my workhouse of UQs and I take them to group and hangs and I usually end up loaning at least one of them out. I have had a couple of people later tell me that they ended up getting one after trying them.
