    tying out tarp

    Is 1.25mm zline spectra adequate for tying out my cuban tarp?

    Honestly, it's probably overkill. 1.25 mm Spectra is rated to over 200 lbs break strength.

    I was just wondering because I have some and didn't want to buy anything else. What would be the ideal
    cord to use?

    What you have is ideal. I use the 1.5 mm Zline on my tarps. Never tangles and holds a tautline hitch.
