    clip on tarp pullouts

been looking into the tarp pole mode for my HH Typhoon fly and am wondering if anyone uses these clip on tarp pull outs on there 30D silnylon tarps over long term and how has tarp held up to the use..
I love the weather tightness of the Typhoon but am looking for just a little more room if I can get it

The inside of them is really soft silicone or something. No marks left on my tarps.

I've used Tato adjustable tarp pulls for almost 3 years on my Toxaway. They are great. Full time part of my kit. No wear. I tend to move mine around a bit on nearly every set up, accommodating different anchor points, in trees, roots, saplings, stakes, what have you. Really nice for riding out high winds or storms. For me, the shock cord on the pulls, also seem to reduce the need for self tensioning tarp tie outs on the rest of the tarp. I can't remember a set of these ever offered up for resale. Cost and weight penalty minimal.

My comment is exactly the same as Rolloff's except I have had mine for 4 years.

Find the reviews and read them, they will answer your questions. I am pleased with mine, I have two pair.

I've used the Tato pullout son my Clark vertex tarp, only a couple of times but you would never know where they were. As mentioned above there is a soft rubber o-ring that protects the tarp fabric.

I also use the TATO pullout on my Warbonnet sock to keep the non zippered side pulled out and away from the hammock. Has not left a mark
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
