Just finished making a 12' x 10' tarp using Xenon Sil 5300. Everything turned out great and I can't wait to test it out. After pitching it I started thinking some panel pullouts would be nice to open up the interior a bit more as well as reduce some of the flapping from wind. I found a few different methods and wondering pros and cons of each and which would be best.
- Dutch's Clip on tarp pull out
[I'm not sure how good of a permanent solution they'd be and if it would damage the fabric over time]- Regular sewn on with reinforcement patch
[just means that i have to borrow a sewing machine again]- "Glued" on with silicone (no-sew) similar to this video HERE
[seems too good to be true. How much force it would they take before pealing off?]
