studs vs block

Ok so Heres the deal, I have recently moved which by all means is great but... I no longer have a basement full of exposed studs for my hanging pleasure. The room I have taken as my man cave is a room in my basement that is completely finished so I dont want to just go hog wild. (I dont own this home yet)

I see three options:

1) Attach I bolts into the studs in my ceiling-this would mean filling holes and painting ceiling if I ever move
2) Attach I bolts into the block wall-again, I would have to patch wall and paint
3) I could build a turtle lady stand of sort

My concerns:

1) Would a turtle type stand hold a 300 lbs hanger who's toddlers like to swing with him?
2) Of the two I bolt options which one would be stronger?
(Ive hung from 2x6's and they were fine BUT I attached my bolts from the side....these would be screwed strait up into the narrow side of the board)
3) Of the two I bolt options which one would be easier to repair and make new again?

If it helps and there are two places in the room that have exposes 2x4's or 2x6's. They are in closets and I could just open the doors when I want to hang. It does limit me a little as to where I have to place my other attachment point. Either way if I utilized the exposed joists I would have to attach the other point to the ceiling, the block wall would be OUT due to the angle of hanging.

Pictures would make this easier... A turtle dog stand made from 2x3 would hold your weight... But I would make it from 2x4 just to accommodate swing and since you won't be hauling it around... That would be my way since you don't own... Another option not mentioned( sorry have to )... Is to screw in a 2x something into the wall with smaller screws horizontally, then eye bolt to the 2x... That would damage less wall and would let you pick your spot...

I have my indoor hammock installed on 2x10 floor joists. Until I shored them up, they would move slightly when I would swing in my hammock, and I only weigh 165. I'd be worried about causing additional damage to the ceiling or the joists since they are not exposed so that you can reinforce them. I'd say, use a four screw pad eye on the concrete blocks. The smaller screw holes will be easy to repair, and pad eyes aren't much of an eyesore anyway.

I just picked one up for my son to hang on indoors. It works very well and looks nice, too, which helps a lot when it's inside. A bit pricier (picked mine up for just shy of $150, with shipping) but it's worth it for my uses.

Aww ! I totally forgot to list that as an option. I have though about mounting a 2x6 the wall and then an I bolt to the 2x6. I though that would distribute the weight better.

I don't know the facts of the turtle lady stand, but if I was 300 lbs I wouldn't hang on bamboo... But that's me, the turtle dog stand I made out of 2x2 has held 250 with swing with no trouble, but I made it for mainly 200ish...

The Turtlelady stands can and are made out of any materials the turtledogs are. I have one built with ~2"-3" diameter maple and will put it up against any turtledog built with a hinge. I guarantee it would withstand more weight and abuse.

With appropriately sized materials, the weight shouldn't be an issue, but I would be hesitant to do much swinging with any of the proposed setups.

This is a good choice (Brute was right). Tapcons are your friends. Don't skimp, though. Cinder blocks aren't invincibly strong. Spread the force around.

If you have toddlers around, the turtle stands aren't an option. The kids could pull them over. Very stable once you are in them, but a small bit of care is needed getting in and out of them, and you couldn't leave them set up when you're not around with the wee ones.
