I have been looking for a better suspension setup (right now using a bowline knot about 18" from the end of the hammock with a biner in it, attached to Python straps), and I wanted to start by replacing my HH suspension with whoopie slings.

These look good, but as they mention, my hammock is one of the ones with a loop of webbing on the end, not the one/two holes, and so they say that I can just use their normal whoopie slings, BUT I'd have to attach my fly separately.
I don't want to do that (all good reasons to do it aside, I'm lazy and like having it all wrapped in one snake skin). I don't really see WHY I could use the fly-on-hammock suspension with the previous version but not this one. Any ideas?
For reference, here's the photo of the new webbing end that is supposedly incompatible with the HH-specific whoopies (photo stolen from Seshan's post last June)
